2. What is the DTV?
The DTV is a new tourist visa that allows you to stay in Thailand for up to five years—making it one of the most affordable and flexible visa options for long-term stays in Thailand.Launched in July 2024, the DTV visa is part of the Thai government’s efforts to attract more foreigners by easing visa requirements. It’s ideal for those who wish to stay longer in Thailand and have the financial means to support themselves and make unforgettable memories!

3. Visa Requirements
✅ The Passport Validity
(Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months.)
✅ Recent Passport Photo
(Provide a passport photo taken within the last 6 months.)
✅ Proof of Financial Stability
(You need to show proof of at least 500,000 THB (or its equivalent in other currencies) in your bank account, along with up to 3 months of transaction history and proof of income.)
✅ Proof of Current Location
Submit documents that confirm where you are currently located.

4. Visa Requirements
Speak Up Language School offers a 6-month Thai language program as part of the DTV visa application. This program includes language lessons and cultural activities.
✅ Course Fee: 25,000 THB for the 6-month program.
✅ Visa Application Fee: 10,000THB.
✅ Program Duration: 6 months of Thai language lessons and cultural immersion.
If you’re already in Thailand, you may need to leave the country to apply for the DTV visa.
5. How to Apply for the DTV Visa?
✅ Step1. Course Enrollment
Fill out the DTV course enrollment form.
Submit required documents:
A copy of your passport (bio data page and Thai entry stamps from the last 2 years.)
Recent Passport Photo (Provide a passport photo taken within the last 6 months.)
Your enrollment is confirmed once you have paid the full tuition fee.
✅ Step2. Apply for DTV
Document preparation takes 1–2 weeks. The school will prepare and send the required documents to your email.
✅ Step3. Online Application:
Students must upload the documents provided by the school, along with any other required materials, to apply for the ED visa online.
✅ Step4. Visa approval
The visa approval process typically takes 1–2 weeks, depending on the Thai embassy. Once approved, the student will receive their e-visa by email.
6. Visa Extension
✅ Stay Duration: The DTV allows you to stay 180 days per entry.
✅ Visa Conditions: Students must leave Thailand every 180 days or apply for a visa extension at the immigration office(1,900bath.)
